Tom Cruise Movies

One of the highest paid and most sought after actors in screen history, Tom Cruise has long been a staple in film. From cool 'Maverick' Mitchell in Top Gun to Interview with the Vampire's sinister Lestat, Tom has had roles in some of the highest grossing films of their time. Further developing his acting chops with recent films Magnolia and Vanilla Sky, Tom has earned even more respect of the film community as a leading dramatic actor, without losing his audience for these Tom Cruise Movies.

Tom Cruise for all Tom Cruise Movies is one of the most liked stars in Hollywood; he is also one of its hardest workers. Not content to be just an actor, he has made considerable strides as a producer. Cruise has long proven his star power, and continues to be a major box office draw. So there seems to be a great future for Tom Cruise Movies.

Here are some Tom Cruise Movies:

The Last Samurai (2003) Directed by Edward Zwick. With Ken Watanabe, Tom Cruise, and Billy Connolly. Complete title: The Last Samurai (Widescreen Edition). In Tom Cruise Movies, The Last Samurai is a well-acted, engaging story that's shot in some beautiful scenery.

Top Gun (1986) Directed by Tony Scott. With Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards. In Tom Cruise Movies addition, Tom Cruise  has made a lot of great movies, but "Top Gun" is the best movie he has ever created. Cruise stars Maverick, a fighter pilot, who goes to the Top Gun Naval School with his partner, Goose played wonderfully by Anthony Edwards. He falls in love with a civilian instructor, Charlie played flawlessly by Kelly McGillis. The picture and sound quality from the DVD are good, however there are no extras.

Legend (1986) Directed by Ridley Scott. With Tom Cruise, Mia Sara, and Tim Curry

Complete title: Legend (Ultimate Edition). A glowing, phantasmal gem of a movie, "Legend" reminds you that unicorns are cool. Ridley Scott's masterfully slow pace lets your breathe this movie in, almost smelling the wisps of summer flowers he so beautifully photographed. The soft focus imbues every shot with an ethereal quality of transcendence, whisking the viewer away from the humdrum lucidity of more realistic films.

Eyes Wide Shut (1999) Directed by Stanley Kubrick. With Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. In addition of Tom Cruise Movies, it was inevitable that Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut would be the most misunderstood film of 1999. Kubrick died four months prior to its release, and there was no end to speculation how much he would have tinkered with the picture, changed it, "fixed" it.

Interview with the Vampire (1994) Directed by Neil Jordan. With Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Complete title: Interview with the Vampire – DTS. In addition of Tom Cruise Movies, when it was announced that Tom Cruise would play the vampire Lestat in this adaptation of Anne Rice's bestselling novel, even Rice chimed in with a highly publicized objection. The author wisely and justifiably recanted her negative opinion when she saw Cruise's excellent performance, which perceptively addresses the pain and chronic melancholy that plagues anyone cursed with immortal bloodlust. Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst are equally good at maintaining the dark and brooding tone of Rice's novel.
