Comic Book Movies are nothing but movies based on comic books burn up the box offices every year. Although the Comic Book Movies officially carried a PG-13 rating the movie had to be edited twice to get it down from its original R rating. That being said these movies are easily on caliber with Spiderman and might even be better movies. Last years success used a lot of the similar plot lines and action to progress its story but most of its love scenes came off as cheesy and corny at times taking away from the movie. Daredevil is full of its own love and romance but they are way better done and not so tedious.

Affleck and Garner make the perfect couple in the movie as Matt and Electra and had great chemistry including their own rain soaked kiss. The action is superb as the actors studied for months to perfect their martial arts skills and the movie moves from one fight scene to the next with relative ease. This keeps the tempo of the movie going really well once the movie gets past its character development stages. If something could be said about the movie it would be those development stages, as they seem slow in comparison to the rest of the movie and you can’t wait for the action to get going.

Consider this the Golden Age of Comic Book Movies, but don't get used to it. Don't be fooled by the blockbusters with their Maguires and Afflecks wearing tights and saving the world from box-office boredom. Don't believe that the legion of A-list Celebes cast as noble, conflicted super beings can keep up the fight against big-budget bad guys for long.

How to Make a Yahoo Movies Plug-in: One person hacked this up after having to search the nth time through movie listings for his movie. We hope you find it useful. This plug-in search lists all the movie theatres in the area which are showing a given movie, plus show times, addresses, phone numbers, and other information.

The first thing you need to do is to create a .src file in your Note Pad, with the text below. Whitespace doesn't matter -- except inside quoted areas, where it's critical, so watch out! The single item you'll definitely need to change is the zip code (20878) in the line

     <input name="z" value="20878">

...you'll need to set this to the zip code in the area where you're searching. You may also want to change the search name and description to strings that you think are more fitting for your personal Yahoo movie searcher.

After you have created this in the note pad, go to the routing menu for this note and choose "Add to Hemlock Engines". If Hemlock can properly parse this plug-in, it'll add it to the engines silently, otherwise it'll pop up a warning message saying that it had failed.

Note that there's a bug in Yahoo Movies search mechanism -- sometimes too exact a title will get you no answers back (for example, searching for "The Matrix" failed to find anything, but searching for "Matrix" nailed it exactly). And too vague of a title, where more than one movie could be under that title, may also fail. Go figure!
